Latest community newsletters - inBright and @Hallett Cove

26 March 2015

Each quarter I release two newsletters with an update on what is happening in and around our community.

Each quarter I release two newsletters with an update on what is happening in and around our community.

I always do two separate newsletters - one for Hallett Cove (@Hallett Cove) and one for Marino through to Somerton Park (inBright). The reason I do this is because I recognise that these areas are unique and, as such, would benefit from information that is specific to them.

inBright provides a roundup of what’s happening in and around the electorate of Bright and the latest edition can now be downloaded here.

This edition includes a link to my annual report, an update on the latest Brighton Road issues I have raised with the Minister and information on what I have been doing to address the ongoing train horn pollution saga.

You will also find an update about what is happening at the Cement Hill site adjacent Scholefield Road (also known as the Lorenzin site), a summary of my week spent in Africa with World Vision and an overview of what I have been doing to represent you in Parliament.

@Hallett Cove provides a roundup of what’s happening in and around Hallett Cove and the latest edition can now be downloaded here.

It includes an opportunity for the community to fill out a short survey to enable me to gain insight into what impact the ;proposed closure of the Hallett Cove Police Station would have as well as an update on the Hallett Cove foreshore with information on the commemorations planned at this site for ANZAC Day 2015.

This edition also gives an update about internet in Hallett Cove following my meeting with Federal Communications Minister, Malcolm Turnbull as well as a summary of my week spent in Africa with World Vision and an overview of what I have been doing to represent you in Parliament.
