This week in Parliament I had the opportunity to voice my concerns about the State Labor Government's proposed nuclear waste dump.

I am not an anti-nuclear person. I am not scared of nuclear power, and I believe that, in the right circumstances, nuclear energy has a role to play in power production. However, I have concerns about the economics of this project, the risks, my distrust in the government's ability to manage and deliver a project like this given their track record and, most importantly, the lack of community support, both from the people I represent and more broadly.
